Submit ACA Forms to IRS: CoveredIndividualGrp Error

IRS AIR Error:

If Form 1095C checkbox 'CoveredIndividualInd' is checked, then at least one instance of 'CoveredIndividualGrp' must have a value.

Reason: You check the option in Part III covered individual without adding details.



Solution

1) If your company needs to complete Part III, please enter the information for each individual enrolled in coverage, including the employee.

2) Otherwise, you need to uncheck this option.

Start ez1095, follow IRS guide, fix the errors and file ACA forms again.

If IRS denied your submissions, you may need to file the replacement. If IRS accepted your submission with errors, you may need to file the correction forms. If you are not sure, please contact IRS directly to confirm it.
